About Us

My name is Fred Clarke and I have 40 years of oil & gas experience and expertise with Integrated Operations, Artificial Lift and Production Optimization.

I have worked with E&P companies and several major artificial lift manufacturers in Canada, Australia and USA.

I am well versed in a wide variety of production challenges in heavy and light oil, CSG, CBM and production from unconventional reservoirs.

Currently, I am the principal consultant working with operators developing strategies for Integrated Operations and Digital Transformation of their operations along with supporting artficial lift and automation programs.

Most recently I worked with Murphy Oil as their Senior Artficial Lift Specialist developing the artificial lift strategy for the production of the Eagle Ford unconventional reservoir with sucker rod pumps in South Texas. Also I was the Team Leader developing and implementing a 24/7 Houston based remote operation center which supports the production from 31 central facilities and 850 wells.

Previously I worked with Santos, Australia’s largest onshore producer as Technical Lead for artficial lift and automation of sucker rod and progressing cavity pumps supporting a large remote mature asset in the Cooper Basin in South Australia.

I was also an artificial lift advisor to the Santos coal seam gas (CSG) project in Queensland Australia. The challenge was run life improvement for progressing cavity pump systems and developing the automation strategy for the production of several thousand CSG wells.

I have been published and have been the author and co-author of several SPE papers. I have presented at many industry conferences sharing knowledge and lessons learned.
